TAILOR-MADE TRAINING…
INTERNATIONAL EXPERTISE GUIDED PRACTICAL TAILOR-MADE TRAINING IS UNDERWAY AT NATIONAL RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CENTRE FOR AQUACULTURE (NR&DCA), GELEPHU
Through Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) funding of the Netherlands coordinated by the Sustainable Aquaculture Solutions (SAS) of the same country, ten technical staff from the National Research & Development Centre for Aquaculture (NR&DCA), Gelephu and two technical staff from Regional Centre for Aquaculture (RCA), Phuntshothang and one staff from Regional Livestock Development Centre (RLDC), Kanglungis attending 4-day Tailor-Made Training (TMT).
This is the great opportunity for the agency and also the country to leverage the technical know-how and build up the competency level of the staff working in the sector. NR&DCA, RCA and RLDC reaped the international opportunity to gain main insights both in terms of theory and practical aspects. Close technical consultation, discussions and knowledge sharing is hugely encouraged through participatory assignments, group works and individual self-learning drive during the course.
Participants have unlimited expectations from the course as the country has received right technical person when there is genuine need for such programme. Thus, during the limited training duration, participants will explore routes, strategies and ways to resolve all questions, find solutions to pressing issues, try to address shortfalls, and gaps deterring smooth aquaculture development, seek expertise guidance and advises on general aquaculture development for responsive and sustainable aquaculture.
